Call for Abstracts
Abstract submission is opening on 02 January 2017 at 10.00 AM.
Please read the following paragraphs carefully before proceeding to the submission.
Abstracts on original work must be submitted for oral or poster presentation in one of the nine proposed scientific sessions.
All abstracts must be submitted online via the Conference website and using the online submission form. Abstracts sent via fax or e-mail will NOT be accepted.
Only one abstract per individual participant can be submitted whatever the presentation type (oral or poster).
To be included in the final conference programme each accepted presentation will have to be accompanied by a completed registration form and its associated payment by the presenting author (1 accepted presentation per registered participant).
Authors will be notified for the acceptance/rejection of their contribution by 5 May 2017
All presenting authors must be registered at the Conference.
Abstract submission procedure
- Submission of abstracts is available until 28 February 2017 - 23:59 (France Local Time). Abstracts submitted after 28 February 2017 will not be considered.
- Authors must follow carefully all instructions. All abstracts must be prepared according to the provided guidelines (see below).
- First, create an account for the submission. You will receive an e-mail with user and password in order to make changes on line in the drafted abstract. Note that the person who creates and submits the abstract will automatically be the first author of the abstract. All correspondence following your abstract submission (notification of acceptance and any other information) will be sent to the email address of the person who submits the abstract.
- Create a draft abstract by filling the form on-line
- In the form, you can add as much as co-authors you want and specify who will make the presentation. You have also to specify who is the main author of the abstract (first author or someone else).
- In the form, indicate the desired presentation option (oral or poster) and the scientific session in which you want to give your presentation
- As long as the abstract is not submitted (draft mode), you can modify it as much as you want. Note that no modification is allowed as soon as you submit the abstract.
- Once the abstract is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email to the email address you entered in the form which includes the number assigned to your abstract. Please keep this number in your records for further reference.
Abstract guidelines:
- Abstracts must be submitted through the online form which include 4 mandatory paragraphs (“Introduction”, “Materials & methods”, “Results and discussions”, and “Conclusion”). The additional paragraphs (such as "Acknowledgements" and "References") aren't mandatory.
- Abstracts must not exceed 5000 characters, including spaces, excluding titles, authors and authors' affiliation, and including pictures (which count for 300 characters each and have to measure max 250 x 250 pixels). For each picture downloaded, put the figure caption directly in the referred paragraph (ex : Fig. 1 - Caption 1 for the first downloaded image).
- References should be cited as below:

Important notes
- Presentations type can be either an oral presentation (15 minutes presentation, not including discussion) or a poster.
- The final selection of presentations (oral and posters) and their assignment to scientific sessions will be done by the scientific committee upon abstract review. Due to the limited number of time slots for oral presentations, you may be assigned a poster presentation, although you applied for an oral presentation
- The acceptance of a presentation (oral or poster) and its inclusion in the final conference programme becomes effective only once registration and payment are received. Registration will open 15 February 2017
Young Investigator’s Award
To encourage young scientists to participate in the conference a young investigators award program, included travel grants, has been established in association with the conference. Procedure to apply is available, CLICK HERE
