Ralf Willenbrock (ERTICO) sets out how Hamburg Port Authority and industry partners are applying ISO 23795:2022 to assess the impact of traffic management measures in a structured, data-driven way. Building on a decade of telematics, research and ERTICO standardisation work, the framework quantifies the effects of interventions such as traffic restrictions, signal optimisation and automated vehicle programmes, including carbon savings, to align stakeholders and inform decisions for Hamburg Port's traffic management.
