Inspired by the EU's Vision Zero goal, the SAFELY project uses data-driven tools to identify high-risk areas for vulnerable road users, understand accident patterns and implement targeted safety interventions. Pilots ran in Konya, Türkiye and Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2025. Mehmet Hayırlıoğlu (Konya Metropolitan Municipality) and Eloy Gomez Giron (EIT Urban Mobility) cover analytics, machine learning and the Mapalyse PPGIS public participation tool.
