The focus is on practical examples that show how digital tools support traffic operations, enhance day-to-day efficiency, and enable more reliable decision-making when disruptions occur. One area covered is the use of AI-supported methods for traffic monitoring, which can identify risky situations earlier and contribute to safer road conditions. The session also highlights how better coordination across different transport modes—from road and rail to maritime and air transport—can strengthen logistics, reduce delays, and support more sustainable operations. Another emphasis is on data-fusion techniques that turn large, diverse data sources into clear, actionable insights for traffic management.
