The ERTICO Enhancing Automated Vehicle Parking (EAVP) platform is driving the transformation of urban mobility by integrating automated vehicle parking, EV charging, and modern parking operations into a seamless user experience. Bringing together experts from OEMs, parking operators, and technology providers, EAVP aims to create a fully interoperable system that supports Level 2 to Level 4 automation while enabling value-added services. By leveraging advanced AI technologies, automated parking systems enhance efficiency, safety, and convenience, reducing human error and time spent searching for parking. Integration with EV charging infrastructure allows users to access charging seamlessly, addressing the growing demand for accessible, sustainable urban mobility. The implementation of the APDS v5 protocol ensures standardized communication between parking, charging, and vehicle systems, creating a consistent, user-friendly experience across multiple locations and service providers. EAVP also proposes a scalable EU-wide platform, utilizing European Mobility Data Space (EMDS) technologies and indoor mapping standards, to support smart, connected cities. Beyond operational benefits, the platform fosters continuous innovation, enabling new revenue streams for operators and efficiency gains for OEMs. By treating parking and charging infrastructure as intelligent, user-centric components, EAVP enhances daily mobility, supports sustainability goals, and delivers practical, deployable solutions that improve urban transport for citizens and the broader mobility ecosystem
