To make transportation truly safe and automated, the world needs connectivity that never fails. This session explores SNS JU-funded R&I advancing 6G from concept to real-world deployment in ITS. It showcases progress from projects like AMAZING-6G (large-scale trials for transport use cases including VRUs), ENVELOPE (network exposure for CAM), 6G-VERSUS (vertical trials for sustainability), and strategic insights from 6G-IA. ERTICO moderates, with contributions from Deutsche Telekom on bridging R&I to 5G CAM deployment. Attendees will hear from experts on resilient networks, data spaces, AI integration, privacy/cybersecurity, and green mobility. These initiatives tackle CCAM challenges, ensuring trustworthy, sustainable solutions for urban and cross-border transport. The 6G-IA provides high-level strategy, while speakers demonstrate "lab-to-road" transitions. This offers a detailed view of Europe's leadership in future mobility systems, emphasising safety, resilience, and ecosystem integration.
